I proudly began my 26th year as a University of Indianapolis employee on July 1, 2009—a great place to go to college! I am very grateful to have received the Honorary Alumni Award from the Alumni Association at UIndy in June 2000.

On March 4, 2009, the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association named me a 2009 ROSE Award honoree for five years of volunteer work with the Indianapolis Theatre Fringe Festival. Thank you, ICVA!

Everyone has a favorite band. Mine is the legendary soul and funk band from Oakland, California, Tower of Power, one of the world's most enduring bands, formed in 1968 and still going strong in their 41st year in 2008-09! We've traveled over 30,000 miles to see 66 shows in 12 states, and we can't wait for the next opportunity to see a show. Their 28th CD, Oakland's Own In The Oakland Zone, was released a couple of years ago. Check it out for a funky good time!

Their world-renowned horn section has recorded on hundreds of albums and CDs, and the 1-2 knockout punch of drummer David Garibaldi and bassist Rocco Prestia truly embodies "Rhythm in the Reign" and defines the paradigm when it comes to the groove!
