Course:  Math 191 / Calculus and Analytic Geometry II.

Time& Place:  M W R F 10-10:50 AM in Lilly Hall 317.

TextCalculus:  Early Transcendentals, sixth edition, by James Stewart.

Office hours:  Monday 11-12, Wednesday 2-3, and Thursday 9-10.  Naturally
dozens of other hours are available---just ask, or, if you feel lucky, stop by and see if I am here.
Normally I will be in all Tuesday morining, for example.

Course structure:
Friday will be lab day.  I will assign problems which you will complete and turn in
before you leave.  You will work in groups, and ask and answer questions as you please.  I will
wander around the classroom casting suggestions to those in need.  The other days will consist of
normal lectures.

Course contents: We will cover chapters 5 through 8 and 11.

Evaluation
There will be three one-hour tests which will be held on these days:

       Friday February 8,
       Friday, March 7, and
       Thursday April 10.
